Could you have a tourist oriented historic downtown area WITHOUT a chocolate store?  Of course not!  So Lebanon's Golden Turtle Chocolate Factory fills a necessary niche!  Located in the block of Broadway south of Lebanon City Hall and north of the Lebanon Mason & Monroe Railroad, you can't miss the green awnings out front at 120 S. Broadway!

They're open 10-5 Monday through Saturday, so if you're anticipating a chocolate need on Sunday you'd better stock up in advance!  Golden Turtle Chocolate Factory provides a full line of chocolates to satisfy your cravings!  Fudge?  Of course!  What are they famous for?  Texas Tortoise candies (my personal favorite!).  Texas pecans, caramel and your choice of milk or dark chocolate!  They also offer toffees, creams and nut filled chocolates too!

Lebanon's Golden Turtle Chocolate FactoryThey also offer other gift items and did you know you can order online and have your chocolates shipped?  That's right, just visit the Golden Turtle Chocolate Factory website and place your order, and they do accept all major credit cards.  You can also place an order by calling 1-800-345-1994 or 513-932-1990 locally.  Boxes are available in 1 lb, 2 lb or 3 lb boxes.  That's a LOT of sweet treats!

So the next time you're in the Lebanon area and a chocolate craving attacks, take advantage of the on-street parking or municipal lots and visit Golden Turtle Chocolate Factory!

Jennifer, For me, turtles!  I've loved them since I was a kid, and Golden Turtle makes some good ones.

Brenda, I look at it this way for Localism posts.  Not everyone is interested in vintage clothing, antiques or the like, but EVERYONE eats :)
