6 Comments on New Roof You Say?
OOPS something went wrong on the re-roofing. Good thing they can get out and fix before the property closes.
Once a client paid $3,500 for a high end home inspection and as a result backed out of the deal which included soil sampling. Later, the seller reduced their selling price by 15%! We DID find the buyer another home and they paid for another inspection, which was not as costly.
Always get a home inspection! Nice re-blog.
I always do a permit search and open permit search.Good post
Since permits were pulled it had to be a licensed contractor. To sell the ridge vent then not install it correctly is really a shame, but then to cut other corners and have a leak that soon after installation its a good reason to always have an inspection, even new construction. Too bad it will now take the contractor more time to correct than if it were installed properly in the first place. That can't do their reputation any good either.
Home inspections are SO important! It cannot be stressed enough! Thanks for the comments! Be sure to visit Fred's original post as well!!!!
