47th Wedding Anniversary for Roy and Dolores Kelley

Today, Dolores and I have reached another milestone on our 47th wedding anniversary. 

We were engaged on St. Patrick's Day in 1965 and were married on June 12, 1965 at the Cradock Baptist Church in Portsmouth, Virginia.  The reception was at the Moose Lodge.  The first night of our honeymoon was at the beautiful Williamsburg Inn in Colonial Williamsburg.

The secret to a long and happy marriage is to have the best wife in the world. 

My anniversary breakfast will be at the monthly sales meeting of RE/MAX Realty Group, in Gaithersburg, Maryland.  A typical schedule for those in real estate.

CONGRATULATIONS to the two of you!  47 years is quite an accomplishment!  Interestingly enough, I remember precisely what I was doing that day.  We were celebrating my mother's 55th birthday!  She is long passed now, but I remember the day well!
