16 Comments on Tuesday's Treasures - "Summer Sitting Porch"
A summer sitting porch is exactly what I could use right about now, definitely an advantage to living in a nice home.
We don't see too many of them in my market, but when you have a front sitting porch it's a great selling feature. Lovely photo Steve.
I owned a turn of the century craftsman home with a sitting porch it was a great home. Nice photo.
Eileen,
There are parks and other places you can go. :)
Steve
Carla,
Love the wraparound porches even more. :)
Steve
Tim,
They are great features to have. :)

Been sitting on our deck the last few days and it sure is nice on a cool night.
Than,
Cool is relative. Upper 70s is a cool night here in the summer. :)

Oh, that brings back memories of my grandparents' house in Missouri! I LOVED their big, wide porch!
Love it, Looks like a days gone by photo of the 1960ties vintage... Thanks for sharing
Steve, That is one great looking porch! The rest of the house looks pretty good as well!
Nancy,
When the front porch really mattered. :)
Steve
Diane,
So many homes had them before the suburia boom. Some NTD neighborhoods do again. :)
Steve
Tony,
Agreed. Thanks. :)

I think there should be a law that they couldn't build homes unless they had a porch like that:-) Today has been the perfect day to sit out there with a really cold lemonade or ice tea!
Myrl,
We had a nice day today also - unseasonably mild. :)
