In business for thirteen years, owner/operator Randy LaBolle can usually be found on site and is ready to trade quips with you, take the time to get to know you and, if you are inclined, be glad to help you find something in his shop that you can't live without.

August Third specialzes in a large variety of unigue framed art, scented candles and soaps, exotic treasures from the sea and custom framed mirrors for your home and bath renovations.  You will not find a larger selection, or a more pleasant shopkeeper to help you with your selection in all of Sarasota, FL.

How did the shop get it's name?  Well, Randy will share a variety of explanations with you, but it will really be up to you to decide.  It might be that Randy's father was named August and that Randy is the third son.  Or maybe it's because the shop opened on August Third.  The decision is up to you.  And does it really matter anyway?
