The best way to start this task is to make it fun, you should not dwell on negative thoughts, be positive as you make your home more livable and less clutter! You’ll love the liberating feeling your home takes on once its clutter free; “you’ll be unexpectedly relieved and love that’s its easy and fun”.

The game plan for fun cleaning-up clutter in your home is motivation and game face confidence this will be easy and a nice little work out, it shouldn’t that long at all if done right!

I like music, so that’s my motivation. Music will motivate me while I’m cleaning-up all the things not needed in my home; “the clutter”. Once the music starts I grab big heavy duty trash-bags, a few boxes and a big marker for labeling trash, donate or designated boxes for proper recycling of electronics etc.

Start by entering any room of your choice and start looking for clutter. You only need to find clutter in the room and get rid of it. You start room to room with a reflex mind-set, you need to determine what clutter is, or not! Music helps me relax and get rid of clutter. When I’m cleaning-out the clutter in my home, being relaxed helps me de-clutter with-out getting frustrated. I think focusing on one room at a time is important and keeps it fun, “if you look any further than one room at a time, the task gets overwhelming”! Think about what’s right and then do it; I always say; “It’s harder to do the wrong thing verses doing the right thing”
