Since my last post in August of 2011, announcing the start of Candlewood Lake's latest recreational activity http://actvra.in/Cqz, Candlewod Stand Up Paddleboard has enjoyed great success on the Lake. This new sport has been thriving and the group's organizers have been coming up with new, interesting initiatives and activities to engage its participants further. Below is the most recent announcement. Again, if you love the area and would like to spend some time here, see what the local real estate has to offer either for a month, summer or longer. Paddle Fitness Classes starting this Wednesday June 13th at 6pm.
Work out on the lake this Summer with Candlewood Stand Up Paddleboard. We are offering paddle fitness classes twice a week on Monday and Wednesday evenings starting at 6pm. Join the cousin hood of Kristin & Bryana Hart both Paddle Fitness Level II certified to not only get a great work out but enjoy time on the lake. If you would like to join us and you have your own paddleboard please inquire about our BYOB (Bring Your Own Board) pricing.

Better Balance Yoga
What a great turn out we had for our SUP 101 + Better Balance Yoga class this week. We had so many inquiries that we opened up another class yesterday from 4-6pm.
You can view pictures on our facebook page. We are going to add two more SUP 101 + Better Balance Yoga demo before our full Better Balance Yoga Schedule starts on Thursday July 12. If you are intersted in attending please message me. Each person interstested in attending Yoga for the summer must take a SUP 101 class to learn basic SUP skills. Yoga Packages will be up for purchase at the end of this week.

Special Events - Schools out for Summer!
Lakeside Paddlesports Summer Kickoff Camp
June 27th 11am - 2pm
Ages- 10-15 yrs old
Lakeside Watersports and Candlewood Stand Up Paddleboard have teamed up to present a special event to Kickoff Summer Recess. We will be offering a 4 hour long camp where our students get an hour and a half of watersports fun with Lakeside, and an hour and a half of Paddling instruction with Candlewood SUP. Lunch and healthy snacks included.
This event has limited spots, so we will take reservations on a first-come, first-served basis.
