Those kitties are so magnificient. They look like they are deep in thought about something. Don't you wish you could read their minds sometimes? Just not when they are thinking about eating you though. Great photos.
What fabulous photos, Roy, of these beautiful lions. The National Zoo is definitely a plus for anyone considering buying real estate in Montgomery County, Maryland, near the suburbs of Washington, DC!
Hi Roy,
I have said it before but will say it again; Great photos and you are my hero. Thanks so much for sharing and I am sure the zoo was fun.
Having access to a zoo like that so close to the Montgomery County in Maryland close to Washington D.C. is a great feature.
Hi Roy, Yes you and Dolores live in a wonderful area for many reasons. Thanks for sharing your great photos of these beautiful creatures.

Roy, that male is magnificent. You have an eye for the camera, my friend.
HI Roy~
Don't you just love the "energy" that you can FEEL near these creatures? SO different that my feline friend here at our cabin i Asheville...and yet...strangely...the same! (=^:^=)
Roy, no wonder he's called the king of the jungle - he's so magnificent looking. Thank you for sharing these great photos from the National Zoo. I hope to one day be able to visit that and the great Washington DC area.
Roy, congratulations on your 47th anniversary! Even though the term "magnificant" has been used muliple times in the replies to this post, these cats are truly magnficant. I like the photo of the female in the third photo the best. Something about her expression and those huge feet.
Hello Roy, Now I love animals and I love zoos, last year I made the San Deigo zoo with a guide, of all people Russel
Good Afternoon Roy, This is the exhibit I would like to see the most. I absolutely LOVE your pictures. Thank you for sharing. Have a great night
