Bay of Fundy Back Roads - I Thought I Was on Canadian Pickers!

While driving through Nova Scotia back to Prince Edward Island to catch our flight home Friday, we stumbled upon this place that would have Sheldon and Scott from Canadian Pickers salivating!

Dave said, 'Let's stop!" and pulled in. We asked the fellow if we could look around and he said sure! And went back in the garage and kept on working.

There were all kinds of signs that brought back a lot of memories.

Love the barn board, I saw Sarah Richardson used some in a contemporary country kitchen redo recently on Sarah 101.

^Peg^~you always have such FUN posts! You and hubby sure get around and do things that make for wonderful localism posts. Gotta love memorbilia like that. All those old gas signs take me back, because my dad worked for Atlantic, which later merged with Richfield and became Atlantic-Richfield...ARCO. He worked for them for 30+ yrs.

Anyway, it would be fun to "doll" up a retro-like home with these things. I recall a sign in someone's garage once that said:

Men Picking Out Paint Must Have a Note From Their Wives

Gaylefriend*snap*, how cool that old signs can bring your history to life! I love the sentiment of that sign: Dave needed it once when I sent him to pick up deck stain. Talk about a disaster!

No problem Tom, there are lot of cool old ones! Besides the Betty Boop I thought this one was fun!
