Wine lovers: here is a good wine for under $20 from Hungary

As some of you know I am a wine lover and I like good inexpensive wines. (OK I also love expensive wines) I prefer buying a “good value”. The other day I went to one of my favorite wine stores (I have two, which  I will have to blog about in the future) and I was so surprised, there was a great Hungarian Wine ( as some of you know I am originally from Hungary). So I immediately had to buy it.

For a wine under $20 per bottle and being a dry white this is a winner. So  if you see it in your neighborhood wine store do not turn your head, instead  grab it and buy one and if you like it come back and by more. Also do not forget to let me know if you liked itJ

Endre, I don't know if white wines are different from reds, but noticed the alcohol content on this one is 14.5.  Most of the reds we've had in our home are 13 or 13.5.  Some extra kick to this one!

Hi Endre - A friend introduced me to Hungarian wines several years ago, and I have tried a bunch since then. They're generally excellent drinking at a great price - I'll look for this one the next time I'm buying essentials.

Dick there are some desert wines as well, I am not a big fan of sweet wines hence I have them just as decorations sadly some are quite pricey....

Jane the key word  is "furmint" because "tokay" could be also  the sweet desert wine( at three times the price) I was mentioning to Dick above:)

Endre - Who doesn't love a good value - fine wine at a bargain price?  While Hungary isn't one of the first countries I'd think of for fine wine production, I bet this is very good!

Endre, I'm not really a wine connoisseur...if it tastes good I'll drink it!  More of a Merlot drinker when wine is involved...other than than pass me the Jack Daniels single barrel.
