Southwest Las Vegas Real Estate Trends - May 2012
There were 942 home sales in southwest Las Vegas in May 2012 with a median price of $142,000.
Of those, 790 were single-family homes with a median price of $154,950. Sales activity for single-family homes in southwest Las Vegas is up 11.0% from one year ago, while the median price is up 6.5% from $145,500.
Here's a quick look at price, volume and financing trends in the southwest Las Vegas real estate market.
In 2011 there were a total of 11,164 home sales in southwest Las Vegas. This area is roughly everything west of the I-15 freeway and south of Charleston Boulevard. The median sale was a 3-bedroom, 1711 square foot home with a selling price of $130,000. The median selling price for a single-family home fell by 6.6% during the year, from $149,819 to $140,000.
