Motivational Power Quote

It Doesn’t Really Matter

“The most important thing is your self-respect.

It doesn’t matter what people think about you,

but what you think about yourself.”

Robert H. Abplanalp 1922 -2003, inventor of the aerosol valve

As I see it . . . . . . .

It doesn’t really matter

The mental image that we have of your-self shows for the whole world to see and it is reflected in the self-respect that you have for yourself.

When we have self-respect for yourself it comes through and self-confidence. The way people respond to you is a reflection of the message that we’re sending out to them.

Confidence will come out as self-worth.

Think well of yourself and people will respond accordingly.

It important to have both a positive self-image of yourself and have self-respect for yourself as a person. When you do you will realize that most important opinion that anyone can have about you is the option that you have about yourself.

Believe in yourself, and believe that you are a worthy person and what other people think is there opinion. What they think doesn’t really matter because it what you think about yourself that really counts.

Amen to that, Lou.  Being able to look in the mirror and be proud "who you are" is the most important thing in the world.

We all want to fit in and wind up having preconceived ideas about how "they" will perceive us.
