Father’s Day weekend benefit for Alameda schools

Harbor Bay Club



“All Together Now”, is a benefit concert for Alameda public schools and is being hosted by Harbor Bay Club on Saturday, June 16 at 4 pm and will feature the Sun Kings, a popular Beatles tribute band.  The Harbor Bay Club is located at 200 Packet Landing Road, Alameda.

According to Kirk Cowan of Harbor Bay Club, “the concert will include local food, beer and wine available for purchase as well as a raffle, with the grand prize valued at over $4,500.00.”    

The concert will benefit Alameda public schools music, art and drama programs through the non-profit Alameda Education Foundation.  Tickets prices start at $25 with special family packages available.  Advance tickets include a complimentary drink ticket.

“All Together Now” is the brainchild of Sun Kings bandleader, Drew Harrison and local Realtor Peter Fletcher in 2010.  Concerts have been held in 2010 and 2011 and have generated about $50,000.00 for Alameda schools music, art and drama programs.

Aother Excellent Post...It is amazing how creative the leadership  in some communities.  Schools, Churches, and Homes are the bedrock of commiuities. Get rid of them and there is no community.  It is great see that the community of Alameda is setting the standard in this regards.
