I was in Rhode Island this past weekend, and when I go to RI I have to have a RI specialty, Hot Weiners.  I love food and Hot Weiners are very high on my list, because "Hot Weiners Are So Good!!!"  Hot Weiners are not only a RI specialty, RI is the only state that you will find them.  They may look like a hot dog, but they are far from a hot dog, and much better than a hot dog.

Hot Weiners come in a long link which is cut to the perfect size weiner.  Hot Weiners are made of pork and veal, and cooked slowly on a medium hot grill.  They are then placed in a steamed bun, and topped with yellow mustard,  special Hot Weiner Meat Sauce (special secret recipe), chopped onions, followed by celery salt which gives them that final special taste.  That is what is called a Hot Weiner with the works, and they are one of my favorite meals.

When in RI these are a absolute must, because "Hot Weiners Are So Good!!!"

Andrea they have them throughout RI usually in small sandwich places or dinners.  Once you have one you will be hooked.

Irene, I could have eaten them all but they were for me and my son.

William glad to here that you had them.  I am close enough to RI that I can still get them when I go see the family.
