Boschhammer Tool - Must Have for El Dorado Hills Gardeners and Landscapers

Boschhammer Tool

Living here in El Dorado Hills and doing our own yardwork and plantings (for the most part) I can tell you that there are a lot of rocks in these hills!  That coupled with our clay soil makes digging a hole even for a small 4" pot a chore!  This tool is a must have for gardeners and landscapers in El Dorado Hills.  We are able to dig a hole in a fraction of the time it would take otherwise.  It comes in handy for moving plants too!

DeeDee, now that is something that I've never ever seen.  It's never occurred to me that one of these might even exist!

DeeDee, I have a larger Bosch Hammer with this exact digging bit. We use the other bits for breaking concrete, chiseling, and heavy duty demolition. This digging bit is used the most though, the soils here are rocky, hard and a bear to get through sometimes.

I didn't think I'd ever see a power tool like this on your blog - ever!    lol

Pat,

We loan it out from time to time to friends and neighbors and they are so grateful when they give it back! Makes digging all those holes or digging up plants so much easier!

Hi Joan,

It's the rocks mostly!  You can be thinking you are just going to plant a little 4" pot but end up with a big mound of rocks by the time you are digging the hole for it!

DeeDee, I have one of those and love it.  Mine is a Makita.  And the spade is removable for different kinds attachments.

DeeDee, I had never heard of a power hammer before.  This could be very useful for the clay soil in Texas!
