10 Comments on Thought For Thursday: Important Life Lessons Not Just For The Birds
Morning Carie ... You're so right. Happiness is our choice! I choose to it :)
We do choose don't we on how we look at life. Dogs, birds, animals are so non-judgmental and live in the moment which most of us do not. Not an easy thing to do, but happiness does come from deep inside all of us, it is how we handle our own thoughts and feelings that make the difference. Nice thoughtful post, thank you.
That is an interesting expression. Must admit I have never heard it before.
Nice post and an excellent picture. The image of a bird and a french fry is and outstanding example of enjoying the simple things in life.
John: I'm with you :)
Nancy: 'Simple contentment in being alive' ... exactly! I like how your describe your mornings :)
Mary: You are so right ... living in the moment is a biggie that is so difficult for most of us!
Than: I had never heard of it before either ... until I walked by it the other day!
Dale: Thanks! I thought the same thing when I read it :)
Love the poster very good post, we all need to try to enjoy the simple things in live after all the best things in life are free.
Carie, How amusing. Love the poster.
Caron's: Thanks! Enjoying the simple things is something most of us could get a little better at, yes? :)
Debbie: Thank you! This little shop has some interesting stuff in the windows :)
Getting to there is a matter of letting your "needs" and "wants" get separated. And, telling that inner voice to shut up for a while.
