Motivational Power Quote

Pay Off Your Personal Debts

“Pay off your debts and saving money is less stressful

than spending the rest of your life

with your back against a financial wall.”

Ron Hiebert, Canadian Businessman

As I see it . . . . . . .

Pay off your personal debts

It can start with $1.00, the amount is not as important as the philosophy.

On Monday January 9, 2012 the National debt of the United States is now equal to the gross national product of the country. In other words if we took all the income that county takes in for the year 2012 we could pay off the county debt and not have any money left to pay the counties operating budget or entitlements.

With each seceding day it our debt now exceeds the total income of the United States.

As an individual we can’t solve the country debt crisis. But as an individual we can take control of how we use our money.

Reducing our personal debt, and saving is no longer optional, it’s a must even if you start with a $1.00.

Make the commitment to put your budget into writing and keep track of all the outgoing money. What you will discover by tracking your expenses is the money going out for small and incidentals will far exceed what you think you’re spending.

When you put budget into writing you take the first step of taking control of your total outgoing money and paying down your personal debt.

Pay off your personal debts . . . . If not now – when?

That quote should be taken seriously! So often that is a goal that is ignored and then becomes a hole, that is very difficult to climb out of.

Personal responsibility for finances is something that everyone should take seriously.  There is a saying that the debtor is slave to the lender.  If you don't have debt, you have freedom to make a lot of choices.
