Jersey BoysBob Gaudio and Bob Crewe outdid themselves when they created Jersey Boys, an outstanding musical documentary about The Four Seasons rock 'n roll group. Last night, I enjoyed a nostalgic evening of rock 'n roll music at the Winspear Opera House. The entire cast of Jersey Boys put their heart and soul into last night's performance. Brad Weinstock, who plays Frankie Valli, was stupendous! Joann Daugherty did a flawless job of conducting the orchestra.  The house was packed and the cast received numerous standing ovations. Whether or not you have seen this musical, you should experience it at the Winspear in Dallas!  Jersey Boys runs through July 15, 2012.

Sharon: Did I ever tell you that I was engaged to the drummer in the Four Seasons? It was in second grade and Gerry and I sat next to each other. The engagement was short-lived when my father found out. Gerry (lead singer in "Oh What a Night") later married Frankie's daughter.
