17 Comments on HOA's Can NO LONGER Prevent Texas Residents From Flying Their Flag!!
That is good to know. . .I have experienced the dictatorship mentality of some of those associations over the years. .
I LOVE TEXAS!!!
Great changes! Our HOAs here have WAY too much power over things like this. Hopefully these become precedent for change here.
Sounds like changes that were more than over due.

Greg- as a native Houstonian... I say CHEERS to Texas!!!!
Let's hope the rest of the country follows suit.
This has been an issue Greg with many HOA's with the spotlights on the poles or the flapping in the wind of the flag or clanging gets the pole metal pieces of the rope. It has been pretty silly in my opinion to stop another's patriotism.
Greg.. thanks for posting this ... Great News... I can't imagine not being able to fly the American Flag anywhere in America... good news... Have a great day
SWEET! That's the way it should be my man!
I've always thought that keeping some one from flying the American flag was unconstitutional. I can't believe that could happen in Texas!
Greg,
It's about time that some of these HOA's got their ears pinned back. Good for TAR for sticking up for what's right.

Hey Greg,
Good news on National Flag Day! Thanks for posting and best of success to you this year!
Greg, sometimes these HOAs go so far overboard that its ridiculous.
Sorry I found this at the end of the day -- suggested anyway. Maybe we can have a "belated" Happy Flag Day! Great news and hopefully more states will follow the lead!!
I understand the purpose of HOA's; however sometimes the rules do not make much common sense. The legislature did a good job on this one.
Sometimes people have too much free time to develop ways to get into other people's business. Glad to hear so much of the nonsense has be struck down, at least for now.
