YouTube Thursdays - Must Love Dogs.

YouTube ThursdaysThere are lots of exciting new videos and tips coming your way soon. In the meantime, I don't want you to think I've forgotten the purpose of this group and you. However, transactions and clients need my attention right now and I'm not in full video marketing mode.

Today's reminder is to keep thinking about your niche, and the many ways you can make personal and professional connections with your clients, and hopefully future clients, with the use of video. Video can give you the chance to let your personality and your interests shine.

My friend Gayle Rich Boxman illustrates this well with a recent post and short video. We learn a lot about Gayle's personality in a short period of time. I think prospective clients interested in Fishhawk Lake would want to give her a call. Don't you? We see that the Vernonia Real Estate office, where she works, is warm and friendly - as is she.





Imagine sharing a little of yourself with the world - what would that video look like? Think about the things that matter to you - do you love dogs? Cooking? Running? Horses? Vintage cars? Short videos reflecting your world on YouTube can help you make connections - especially with similar people.

Sharon, exactly. I just read a discussion about Video Marketing - again they reiterate "never longer than 2 minutes" and newer research suggests "1 minute is about right." Surprisingly, there is a lot that can be done in 60 seconds.

Debbie, yes indeed, I'm in the middle of a very dramatic transaction. Not my favorite, but this is when we need to be around for a lot of hand holding and communication.

Gayle, you might know I'd love your sweet little video. It really does show that we can do simple and fun vignettes that give people a chance to connect with us.
