Things to do in Alameda: Moulin Rouge on the Island is the theme of the annual Charity Night celebration at the Alameda Elks Lodge on June 16, starting at 6 pm at the Lodge at 2255 Santa Clara Avenue, Alameda. Ticket price is $45 and includes casino-style gaming, cigar bar, can can and burlesque dancers, an absinthe bar, raffle and live auction. Proceeds benefit local children’s charities such as Alameda Boys and Girls Club of Alameda, Girls Inc. of the Island City, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and the Encinal High School Band as well as helping to fund college scholarship and veterans’ programs. Things to do in Alameda: The “All Together Now” benefit for Alameda School music, art and drama programs will be held on June 16 at the Harbor Bay Club starting at 4 pm. Once again the Sun Kings will perform. Ticket price is $25 adults, youth 6-18, $15, 6 years and younger no charge and family pack, $62. Harbor Bay Club is located at 200 Packet Landing Road. Things to do in Alameda: Alameda Walks! On June 16 at 9 am walkers will meet at Gourmet Burrito at 853 Marina Village Parkway to tour Marina Village and hear about the history of the area. Robert Perricone will lead this new walk which will last 1 hour and one half.
Things to do in Alameda: Alameda South Shore Centerand Off the Grid will be back with more food trucks on June 16, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot near Petco. Eight to ten trucks will including 3-3-3, Fins on the Hoof, Five Ten Burge, Curry Up Now, Hapa SF, Hiyaaa, and Pacific Puffs . Yum Yum!

Things to do in Alameda: The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public every Saturday and Tuesday morning from 9am to 1pm, rain or shine. Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits and vegetables. The market is at Webster Street and Haight Avenue

Free Starlight Movies in the Park sponsored by the Alameda Recreation and Park Department start on Friday, June 22. at 8:15 pm at Alameda Point Multi-Purpose Field. The first movie of the summer season is Tintin.
Alameda Meals on Wheels 16th Annual Community Faire & Wine Tasting Fundraiser on Sunday, July 15 from 1 to 5 pm at Rock Wall Wine Company at 2301 Monarch Street at Alameda Point.
