We recently staged this house in Seattle's Central District.  Originally built in 1900, it has been "modified" many times since those horse and buggy days!  This latest transformation was done by an investor and he did things right!

The rooms are petite, so the staging was important to show how to live comfortably in each space.

DiningRoom before staging:  This room is right off the kitchen with a step down.  It is not obvious that this is the dining room.  The french doors leading to the deck let great light in, but pose a dilema: where to put the furniture?

Diana-the rooms may have been petite but your staging showed the possibilities for the buyers.

Diana....Well done and all "to scale" which is so important in a smaller space!

Diana. I liked how you tucked the chair in the corner by the fireplace. Free access to the windows and lots of open space in a tiny room. Well done.

One of the biggest advantages a homeowner has when selling a home is to add furniture as it can make the rooms look much larger. This is so proven in your before and after pictures, Diana. You did a beautiful job.

Congratulations. Your home staging is being featured in the group Staging Before and After Pictures.

You made great choices for furniture placement.  Excellent dining room solution.  I'll bet the new owners set it up exactly the same way.  I love the DR chairs!
