Short Cuts (we all can use) 

My first mortgage branch manager Randy use to tell me that “short cuts equal short checks” whenever I tried to short cut the mortgage process. Well, he was mostly right. I still believe that that there is a time and a place for short cut.

Really, if you can make your life a little easier by taking a short cut why would you not take one. Really, a little short cut never hurt anyone. I mean I hired an assistant to make my life easier, and when I write a blog. I want it to be as easy as possible.

I am a Realtor®. So, I am supposed to use that little® each and every time I use Realtor®. In the past, I would copy and paste it from Word or somewhere else on the web.

Good news, I found an easier way, a shortcut if you will to make that little ®. All you need to do is press and hold the “ALT” key, then hit the “+” key followed by 0174, boom shocka-locka, ®.

There are more shortcuts on your PC…

ALT + 0174 = ®

ALT + 0169 = ©

ALT + 0149 =  •

ALT + 0151 = —

ALT + 0191 = ¿ (used when are you trying to sarcastic)

ALT + 0176 = °

ALT + 0162 = ¢

ALT + 0247 = ÷

ALT + 0188 = ¼

ALT + 0189 = ½

ALT + 0190 = ¾

Actually, Dave, the ¿ is used in Spanish at the beginning of a question, followed by the ? at the end of the question!

Here's a couple more:  ALT + 13 = ♪        ALT + 14 =♫    ALT+26= →

And for the word resumé, ALT + 130 = é

Lisa, you are right, but I just read an artilce by Erik Deckers that you can use that for sarcasm.
