The importance of a good IDX feed and a CRM

Having a good CRM can make or break an agent in Bedford and their staff. Being able to work your database and send marketing materials is great value to our team.

This week, we have been on a little vacation and I had some time to think about our database. I started looking at some of our contacts and realised there are a few who are agents with other companies. That is when it hit me, I always preach the benefit of being in both the Lynchburg MLS and the Roanoke MLS.  Bedford County is right int he middle and is covered by both the Lynchburg MLS and the Roanoke MLS. Many agents only join one to try to save money, but is also means they can't see half the homes for sale in Bedford. Their clients also only see half the homes for sale  in Bedford. And the really scary part is their listings are only being seen by half the buyers of homes for sale in Bedford.

In the past, I would have to send listings from the Lynchburg MLS and the Roanoke MLS to buyers of homes in Bedford VA. Now, I sign them up for our website where they can see them all. I can slice and dice all the homes based upon my clients needs and the best of all, I can see what which homes are of interest and how often they look at the homes.
