Motivational Power Quote

Don’t Jump to Conclusions

“It isn’t as bad as you think it will look better in the morning.”

Colin Powell, Former Secretary of State

As I see it . . . . . . .

Don’t jump to conclusions

It happens more than we would like to admit, you are informed about a changing condition and it throws you off track.

Don’t jump to conclusions, mentally step back and look at the changing condition, remain composed, control your emotions and don’t jump to conclusions.

When you remain composed your able to logically sort through the information and objectively look at the condition. As you look for the best possible course of action you are approaching the condition, from a positive prospective and seeking the answers to resolve the condition.

By not jumping to conclusions we take the long view of the condition analyze the condition and come up with the possible solutions under the circumstances.

In a world of changing condition remain composed. By not jumping to conclusions you will remain in control of your emotions and by stay in control of your emotions you will remain in control of the changing conditions.

Don’t jump to conclusions will give you the time to figure it out.

Hi Lou...you always offer great advice...don't judge a book by its cover, before you read the contents.

Lou,

This is actually very pragmatic. I use this a lot and it really works.

Lou,

I also have learned not to make an immediate decision because that could just be a emotional reaction, sometimes just taking a few minutes to think about what just happened can bring a lot of clarity.

The quote is so very true. I can't say that I have not made this mistake. As I have gotten older I have learned to not jump to conclusions.
