After attending an e-Edge class in Cary, NC with Beth Torrence, I returned to start working on the profiles and websites for several of my Keller Williams Agents. I found something that all agents in Keller Williams Realty need to be aware of.
Under the Profile section for e-Edge, your contact information is listed in three different ways. What I am seeing is that at least one of those sections, sometimes two sections, contain the agents home address!! This is a serious issue, and each agent needs to log into their account and correct this to only show your office address.
This is how to fix this error:
Log into your Keller Williams account
Look at the upper left hand corner of your control panel. Just under your picture (your picture is there, right?) you should find a button that says 'Profile'. Click the profile button.
When the next screen opens in a new window, you should see three columns with your information. Number one, make sure that all spaces in each column are fully filled in from top to bottom. But most importantly look at the address in ALL THREE COLUMNS! This is where I am seeing home addresses showing. Each account I have updated has had at least one line wrong. This could be a real danger to your safety and the safety of your family. So please check this in your account. Please tell others in your office to check their accounts as well.
This may be an error unique to our office, but I am guessing it is not.
