Friday, June 15

Front Porch Fridays, 7- 9pm, every Friday during the summer.  Firefighters will be available to speak with visitors, pass out coupons for area businesses and conduct tours of Station 1, 711 N. Main St and Station 2, 301 S. Nicholas Rd., both in Nixa.    Free Admission, 725-4025.

Live Band Dance, 7pm, Nixa Senior Center 404 S. Main St.   There is a cover charge, 725-2322.

Open Air Flea Market, 6am, Bolivar, June 15-17, Bolivar Speedway and Event Center, 4829 S. 133 Rd.   Parking is $5 for a car, or $2 per person.  830-7621, 848-4522.

18th Annual Old-Time Music, Ozark Heritage Festival, June 15-16, downtown West Plains.    Features live music by area bands, arts and crafts booths and living history demonstrations.    FREE.   888-256-8835.

Car Swap Meet, 7am to 6pm at Sedalia Fairgrounds at 2503 W. 16th St.    All makes cars, trucks, motorcycles, race cars and parts.   Admission is $4, free for ages 14 and younger.    600-596-3338.

Family Scramble, 8am, Nathanael Greene Park, 2400 S. Scenic Ave.     A parent-child adventure race consisting of  running, hiking and biking through the park.    Fee: $30 a team.   837-5900.

Outdoor Initiatives and Summer Camps Open House, 10:30 am to 2:30pm, Valley Water Mill Park at 2300 E. Father's Day at the ZooFather’s Day at the Zoo, 9am to 5pm, Dickerson Park Zoo at 1401 W. Norton Rd.   Dads receive free admission to the zoo admission.    Regular admission is $8, $5 for ages 3-12.  864-1800.

White Water is open May 26th through Labor Day.    One day ticket price is $38 plus tax, $32 ages 4 to 11, $ 27 for ages 62 and older, free for ages 3 and younger.    Information:   1(800)831-4386. 

 

Make it a Fun Weekend,  Shopping at the Branson Landing, Picnic at Table Rock, Hike at the Nature Center, Bike Ride on the Ozark Greenways, play Air Soft at So Go Air Soft in Ozark, Mo.
