Why Are We So Excited To Be Driving In Circles In Sarasota, FL?  Because Sarasota, FL is a forward thinking city when it comes to traffic control.  One of the best ways to ease traffic congestion at major intersections is to install roundabouts.  Not only do they keep traffic moving smoothly, they can be very aesthetically pleasing. 

The City of Sarasota has been very progressive with roundabouts in the last few years.  A couple of years back the roundabout at Five Points in downtown Sarasota, FL was installed.  For months now, we have had to be patient while Ringling Boulevard at Palm Avenue and Pineapple Avenue have been closed for the installation of roundabouts.

The Ringling Boulevard roundabout at Pineapple Avenue has been open for several weeks now.  The roundabout at Palm Avenue opened just this week.  Our patience has paid off with two beautifully landscaped roundabouts and smooth flowing traffic.  What a great addition to our downtown.
