Top Level Domain – Latest News from National Association of REALTORS®

The National Association of REALTORS® was founded on May 12, 1908 as the National Association of Real Estate Exchanges. Why did it take so long for NAR to start the Top Level Domain name?

Patent and Trademarks REALTORS® and REALTOR® were registered on September 13, 1949 and January 10, 1950.

The first “name server” was developed by the University of Wisconsin in 1984. A year later the Domain Name System was implemented.

28 years later NAR decided to have the Top Level Domain check out the latest news.

Kwee, So "top level domain" is like the ".com"? Except it's being open up to more than .com; .net; .org? The larger an organization gets the slower it adapts and changes. And NAR is very big.
