little greenOnce upon a time a Realtor was showing her buyers some homes on the north end of town.. which town I cannot be sure... and she saw some very interesting things.

Upon the first home they looked at they found secret passageways and dark tunnels that led to the back of hidden walk in closets.

At the second house they found a rambler instead of the two story that it looked like from the outside. In fact the buyers and Realtor ventured through the strange layout with blocked off doors and ancient teeny people stairways to try and find the lost stairway because it seemed that the upstairs windows even had curtains which seemed a bit daunting and suspicious.

On the next day when they tripped across the third house they nearly missed the lower level all together because, you see, in order to find the staircase you had to open the cellar door in the bedroom floor.

It was all a bit strange... until... the Realtor drove past this little green thing that resembled a home. It was all covered with grass and weeds and hidden in the 'planted themselves' trees. That is when the Realtor remembered that things could be so much worse.

Surely her clients were grateful too that this home isn't the one that topped the list of 'sees' for today. In fact, this little abandoned didn't even make the list. Who knows... maybe it's where the hobbit lives. This little beaut wasn't even for sale. And maybe, just maybe, the stories it has to tell are just not ready to share... just yet.

If you are moving in Minnesota and you need to find the perfect place to land give me a shout! I'd be happy to help you find what you are looking for.

My what a journey you have in some of these unique homes. There was one in our little town that once belonged to Alice in Wonderland, I do believe, because as you walked throught the home it got smaller and smaller and smaller toward the back. Alas, some magical family bought it and lived happily ever after.

Ron - I wish I did! I love reading stories at bedtime. I have a hard time making them up on the spot.
