A cascading water fall is like music to my ears! It's soothing, calming and much appreciated. We have a water fall from our spa into our pool and I love to enjoy the tranquil moments :).

Water features are wonderful, but they can be a bit pricey...I've been trying to justify the expense for one at my home as well.

I agree - the sound of a babbling brook, running stream, waterfall...very soothing, just what most of us could use after a hard day!
