Looking for something to do today? How does FREE sound? Cotati is having its 32nd annual Jazz Festival in downtown La Plaza park and several surrounding venues from Noon until 7:00PM.

It's supposed to be 95 degrees today, so bring your sunscreen and perhaps a spray bottle to keep you cool. There will be plenty of food, drink and entertainment. Grab a lawn chair or a blanket on your way out of the house and you will be set. Have fun!

Good morning, Cynthia..... wow 95 ..... and I bet that's in the shade!!!  you'd better move that inviting jazz concert to boston where it's mid 70's and no humidity....

Cynthia~ We've got cooler temps here in Colorado too.  I'm sure there will be people dancing in the streets in Cotati just the same!

I read yesterday how the Jazz Fest in Sac over Memorial Day lost a lot of money this year. I think it's because they were trying to appeal to a younger crowd -- all those people without any money or jobs.

Barbara - I had to escape to my favorite beach for some cool air. I've never seen so many people on the beach before.

Donna - 95 is pretty warm for us ... there was an exodus to the beach.

Lisa - I didn't go this year ... too hot!

Elizabeth - This jazz fest is free, and it manages to make money. A lot of volunteers are involved, and the businesses downtown love it. After the festival ends at 7:00PM, the restaurants and bars are hit with hundreds of people who are not ready to go home yet. Gotta love this little town.
