library programHave you visited your local library lately? If you have you might know that there is an excitement in the air this time of year.

At the Elk River Library their is a dreamy nostalgia going on. Tents set up for the kids to read in and explore along with hosts of wonderful books on display just begging to be read.

With incentives to read, read, read this summer libraries across the nation are offering the opportunity to Dream Big and Read!!!!

And it isn't just for the kids. Sure, the program is for the kids, but the ambiance is for anyone to enjoy. There is much excitement going on!

Lindsey:  Summer reading for school aged children should always be encouraged.  Temecula library has this also and I always loved it when my kids teachers would challenge them to read a certain number of books each summer!

What a great program for the kids.  Who wouldn't want to take "Where the Wild Things Are"  inside a tent for a couple of minutes at least?
