Give Your Home Attitude, a Different Way to Look at Your Garage-Door.

Using a recycled garage door as a room divider

We all know home garage-doors are built for the exteriors of homes, but don’t be surprised to see garage-doors being used for the inside of homes.

Are you replacing your old beat-up unsafe garage-door, you may be surprised what’s happening to your old garage-door, it might not get tossed into the dumpster, instead it might be a chic decoration for the inside of a home.

New ideas that are smart home ideas! Your garage-door may need to be recycled and used as a home decoration! I think this idea will catch-on fast. Imagine your old garage-door may actually be worth something. With and little tender love and care your old garage-door is a very hot item in your home.

Give your home attitude, a different way to look at your garage-door.

Your garage-door may have a longer life than expected. Maybe garage doors can last a life time. There’s companies’ making a new life with your old garage and quickly giving a re-purpose to your old garage-door. Next time you look at your atrocious old beat-up garage-door, you might have a different viewpoint once you see all the different ways your garage-door can be transformed into something so cool really shocked to see!

Add a little interest to your home with your old garage-door, a great way to make a home look chic and vogue. It’s definitely a great conversation starter when you incorporate this type of decorating to your home, and it also has a noble purpose. Give your home attitude, a different way to look at your garage-door.

Think about what’s right and then do it; I always say; “It’s harder to do the wrong thing verses doing the right thing”

I sure wish I had thought of this last week - I had to replace my garage door after I backed into it. :(. Now I am thinking it would have made a cool privacy wall next to my back patio.

I'm going to 'pin' your first picture onto my 're-purposing' board, if you don't mind - it'll link back to this post.

Jon:

This is a very creative use of a garage door.  I like to see people reusing things in a new way.

Funny-I was just looking at the backsides of our garage doors yesterday. It's an 83 year old house, and each section/panel is solid, and I do mean SOLID, wood. I was thanking my lucky stars there haven't been any problems with them since we've had the place, because they must weigh 500 pounds. But if the time comes, they will be living a second life somewhere in or around the house. As someone who never wastes anything, love the idea!

Thanks for sharing-

Michael
