Lebanon's Frost Cupcake Bar Offers Design Your Own Cupcakes
Ready for some fresh cupcakes with a twist in Lebanon's historic downtown district? Then pay a visit to Frost Cupcake Bar! Frost Cupcake Bar opened a 2nd location in Lebanon after first proving the concept in downtown Springboro on Main Street. The Lebanon location is at 20 N. Broadway (just past LCNB and BEFORE Breakfast Club on the east side of the street....pay attention, it's easy to miss this spot if you're doing a drive by).
So what's different about Frost Cupcake Bar? The owners Aly Moss and Zandra Thomas may be on to something, because you can design your own cupcakes! That's right, pick out your base cupcake flavor, select the icing you want (10 to pick from), and then you can add toppings, similar to a build your own ice cream sundae concept!
Now in addition to the Design Your Own cupcakes, Frost Cupcake Bar will also run weekly themes and have a selection of cupcakes already made! Last week's theme was the Cincinnati Reds, so everything had a baseball theme! Perhaps some Cracker Jack on top, some peanuts, maybe bubble gum flavored.
We sampled a couple of the specialty cupcakes along with a couple of the design your own (see picture) and Frost has our endorsement!
Frost Cupcake Bar isn't the first Lebanon cupcake specialty shop, with Manna Cupcake Cafe taking that honor, but they closed their doors when their location down by the Lebanon Mason & Monroe Railroad couldn't consistently pull enough cupcake eaters through the doors. Frost Cupcake Bar's location closer to the heart of downtown Lebanon should give them an advantage in that department.
When can you visit Frost Cupcake Bar? They're closed Sundays and Mondays, open Tuesdays through Friday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays noon to 6 p.m.They're doing a great job updating their Facebook page with the weekly cupcake specials, so click FROST CUPCAKE BAR FACEBOOK PAGE and Like it to keep up with the latest news & see plenty of samples of their specialty cupcakes!
Cupcakes are $3 each, but drop to $2.50 each once you hit a dozen. And they do take Visa and Mastercard. Parking is available on street or in the local municipal lots.
