Places To Visit in Parker Colorado: Farmers Market
The Parker Farmers Market open on Mother's Day and runs through October. The market is open every Sunday from 8am-1pm on Mainstreet in downtown Parker, Colorado. The street is blocked off to traffic and the street is filled with booths from regional and local businesses.
After eating way to much for brunch, Rich and I parked the car and strolled down Mainstreet taking in all the sights and smells of the 2012 Parker Farmers Market. We stopped by the Mary Kay booth to quickly visit with our friend, Diana Riley.
We continued our walk and were tempted by homemade jellies, jams and preserves AND homemade peanut butter. We also found ourselves enticed by the fresh baked breads and jumbo pretzels (very reasonably priced) at the Styria Bakery booth. Hmm...homemade jelly, peanut butter and fresh bread...can you say PB and J? What about the milk? Well, we saw a Royal Crest booth too. You can have the milk delivered to your door!
Planning a party? You could serve homemade salsa. Maybe you like to cook and you need additional tools for your kitchen. The Pampered Chef might have what you need! Have artwork that needs a frame? Frontier Gallery & Framing does custom framing with a Southwest flair. (Again, very reasonably priced.) Does your front porch need some color? We picked up a pot of beautiful red geraniums to brighten our entryway. (Also reasonably priced.)
Please remember when visiting the Parker Farmers Market to wear your favorite hat, stay hydrated and put on the sunscreen. We want you to enjoy your time with us in Parker, Colorado!
