That's what happen's down here, some so bad the units have to be gutted and sold with just the studs.
Winston in this newer home that is what will need to happen. it is unfortanate.
wow looks like florida empty homes in the summer too! all for the price of not keeping the ac at even a min of just over 80.. what a waste
Good morning Scott -
Your photo's certainly speak volumes of what can happen to abandon homes! Another job well done my friend.
Hope you enjoy this Sunday and Fathers Day to the fullest in all you do.
John
Hi Scott - It's always sad to see photos like that or to actually show a home in that condition, and it's way more common today than it should be. And you're right that it doean't have to happen that way - there are alternatives that make a lot more sense for everyone.
Homes that have been vacant for a long time give me the willies. I don't like to think about all the things that have started to age prematurely, or the things that are wrong that I can't see. Thank goodness you can see mold like this.
Mark I was lucky or unlucky enough to be flown down last December to meet with Asset managers in Florida and got to see homes in similar condition. It is never nice
Thank you for the comments and well wishes John
DICK great points, it does not have to end up like this, there is help for home owners.
Chris Ann it is a good thing they dont have scratch and sniff computer screens to share a true experience.
Thanks for sharing your photographs. Spring and summer REO purchasers need to be prepared for mold damage.
