HAPPY FATHER's DAY ACTIVERAIN

By
Industry Observer CDRE #01044712

Father's day first was celebrated in Spokane, Washington, in June of 1910, and President Calvin Coolidge recognized father's day in 1924; then, in 1966 President Lyndon Johnson proclaimed third Sunday in June as Father's Day. This year on June 17, we are celebrating 102 years anniversary of Father's Day.

I want to share few Father's Day quotes
It doesn't matter who my father was; it matters who I remember he was. - Anne Sexton
One father is more than a hundred schoolmasters. - English Proverb
A man knows when he is growing old because he begins to look like his father. - Gabriel García Márquez
The father who does not teach his son his duties is equally guilty with the son who neglects them. - Confucius
By the time a man realizes that maybe his father was right, he usually has a son who thinks he's wrong. - Charles Wadworth

I want to wish to all the fathers at Active Rain Community, a Happy Fathers Day.
