The following numbers represent the Real Estate Market Review for San Ramon, CA  94582 & 94583 for the month of May 2012. San Ramon remains a very active market as are the surrounding cities along the 680 corridor. Tight inventory is creating multiple offers on homes. Currently there are 42 single family homes listed for sale versus 117 last year. 83 homes sold in May compared to 55 in May of 2011. The attached housing market is where the lack of inventory is so dramatic. Four actives at the end of the month compared with 61 last year. San Ramon has 169 homes currently "pending sale" with a high price of $1,879,000 and a low price of $299,000.  There are 95 condo/townhomes "pending sale" with a high price of $674,990 and a low price of $100,000.
