All of my advertising is now online. Last year I finally withdrew from our local real estate magazine. In three years of advertising there were ZERO closed transactions from that print source. So, time to put the money were the prospects are!
Suzi - A new challenge, yes. But greater opportunity.
Real estate magazines and newspaper ads offered small space for high dollars. Now agents can add multiple photos and if they take the time to write compelling copy about each of their listings, they can offer it to the viewing public without paying hundreds of dollars per week.
The same goes for marketing their services. Well written agent profiles, websites filled with good information for buyers and sellers, and agent blogs all allow buyers and sellers to learn something about the agents before making a choice.
In addition, autoresponders allow agents to keep in steady contact with prospects who aren't yet ready to move.
More work, yes. But much of it stays in place once it's done. You don't have to write new ads every week unless you have new listings.
