Giving the WOW factor to homes for sale in the San Carlos CA area, as elsewhere, is super important, but it's not surprising that sellers who have lived in the house many years can't see that their house is a bit tired and in need of sprucing up.
One way that has been effective for me is to show them through pictures. I'll take a few photos of the house to include with a market analysis--when one sees the house in a picture, it often becomes easier for a seller to see the overgrown landscaping, the tired paint, etc.
