Hi Jeff, Cedros is one of my favorite areas and I am sure you had an enjoyable day. Happy Fathers Day, BTW. As for the lettuce, as big as it is, this lettuce is one of my favorites and it might last 3 days if I added a lot of Romaine, LOL.
Jeff $2.50 sounds like a bargain. I have so much lettuce I gave some to a client and several friends. This season the vegetables seem larger than life :)

Wow Jeff I'm jealous...my lettuce was about 4" in diameter (lol) this spring...what a great father's day find...
Jeff, hope you had a wonderful Father's Day! That is one mega lettuce for sure, wow! Now make sure you tell us that it was as good to the taste as it looks!
Jeff: A foot in diameter, that's huge, must be that local coastal air that contributed to that lettuce head's size!
Farmer's markets are always the best place to get fresh produce! Hope your Father's Day was terrific!!!

Barbara-Jo - agreed. But you do have th watch prices as they are NOT always the least expensive. but probably the freshest.
