In today’s installment of obscure holiday awareness we are celebrating what might be my favorite holiday so far National Splurge Day!

This is dedicated to all of those workaholics out there! Be it working in an office, construction, or even being a stay at home mom. Today is the day to give yourself a break and buy those new shoes, or top you’ve been eyeing on display at the corner store.

Everyone deserves a break, and everyone should treat themselves every now and again.

So take a day off, or cut out early and pamper yourself just this once. (It can be our little secret!)
