Even though summer isn't officially here until tomorrow (June 20th marks the official first day of summer), the weather is proving something different. With temperatures set to hit the triple digit mark this weekend in College Station, a dip in the pool sounds fantastic, doesn't it? If you don't happen to own a pool, you can still take the family to Adamson Lagoon (1900 Anderson) for Family Swim Night every Thursday evening from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. And it only costs $3 per person!
All College Station families are welcome to join in. Regular summer pool times for Adamson Lagoon are from 1pm to 7pm Tuesday through Thursday, 2pm to 7pm on Fridays and 12pm to 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The pool is closed every Monday. However, every Thursday evening, the pool reopens to the College Station public for two hours of family swim time. It's a great way to be physically active and enjoy time with your loved ones. Cool off and let the kids get rid of their built-up energy before the night is through every Thursday evening this summer. The special Family Swim Time hours will end on August 9, 2012.
