Stapleton Affordable Housing: Bluff Lake Apartments Opening Draws Mayor!
Today on a hot day in Stapleton was the ceremonial opening with great attendance and nice speeches. Touching remarks from residents that Mercy has helped in the past to the Mayor helped create the ribbon cutting of the Mercy development that has 92 units of low income rental housing.
Stapleton's diverse housing options include Stapleton rental homes. which constitute of at least 20% homes that are saved for residents that make less than 60% of the area median income. This particular complex of affordable housing will have a variety of homes ranging from 30% AMI to 60% including qualified candidates that are part of the City of Denver's Road Home Program.
Mercy Housing also has developed Park Side Apartments in Stapleton as an affordable housing group of homes. They have had great success with very full occupancy, after school and adult learning programs and integration within the community. Bluff Lake Apartments has similar programming planned.
Stapleton residents and the StapletonHomeTeam welcome our new neighbors to the Bluff Lake Apartments and congratulate Mercy Housing on another great community created!
