If you read my blog at all you know I use Starbucks quite a bit...in fact it is really my second office!
My boy is with me for the summer and he goes to Starbucks in the morning with me (and reads his book). A few days ago he pointed out to me that I was killing trees by getting a paper cup each morning...and wanted me to buy a Starbucks coffee mug so I could reuse it each day when I got my coffee.
After being guilt-ed (he is worse than my Mother) into buying the $7.95 mug, I found out that each time I purchase my coffee I will save 10 cents. I realize that does not sound like much, but in about three months (yes...I drink a lot of Starbucks) the cup will pay for itself...and I will be doing something good for the planet.
...So all you Starbucks Realtors out there...if we all switch to a reusable cup we can help the Earth and save a little money...sounds like a perfect plan to me!
