As we roll into summer, new flowers bloom.

We have hundreds of these all along the ditch in our yard.   They are wild and with all the moisture this year are looking good as even

Not sure what these are, but the hummingbirds really like them.   Something my wife planted this spring.

Even with the beauty the flowers give, I would still like to trade some warm drier days for my wet ones for the areas that need the moisture to fight some of the fires.

Beautiful blooms Bill! I'd gladly help putting the fires out if I could too. I hope they get some relief!

Hi William, Living out West heading into our fire season, we would love to acconmodate your trade offer. Since it is not possible, enjoy the summer with the abundance of all the wet stuff. The only thing green out here seems to be the weeds, :-)

Right now we sure could spare some of the rain.  Duluth got hammered.  You wouldn't think a city built on a hill would flood, but it is the washout that are so bad

Thanks for the thoughts, Bill. We could use some of your rain. I live up on a high mesa. I can see all around me. I'm regularly checking for smoke. It's going to be that kind of summer. We do have a chance of rain coming up next Tuesday. I'm not putting much hope into that. And just one day of rain won't do it. It will help, but we need some regular rain for a while to get out of this drought.

Fire is one thing that I think would be a hard thing to worry about.  Like any disaster, it is out of your control buyt to see it coming and not be able todo anything would be really tough.

I like that second country!  I think you should retake this in better light and see how it looks.   Not trying to tell you what to do, but i bet it will really look nice!
