Under the unexpected blessing category came this never seen by us beauty.
We are not sure if he is a moth or a butterfly but we think he is a butterfly.
What we do know is that he fluttered in and took up a space under our patio cover.
When he was first sighted, we were not sure if he was a bat, a bird or a butterfly.
He has remained still for about an hour now. Staying right where he touched down he has allowed for several up close photos.
Having lived in this area most if our lives, we have been surprised to see something we have never seen before.
It makes us wonder what other blessings and creatures we have overlooked.
I guess it makes it clear that whether we are looking or not, blessings find us. Beauty is all around us if we look for it.
