Sometimes it isn't the website that is best indexed for SEO that attracts the eyes and clicks of consumers.  Unique and creative marketing can be very effective and bring thousands of visitors to your website.  The video below was something that I had created through a freelance type firm and any real estate agent can afford to utilize services such as elance or similar firms for unique projects.  This video was produced for less than $100 and within 24 hours it has already received over 1,500 video views.  

We use a website traffic service called Visistat and that is how we monitor and track our website traffic.  The website traffic at AppleValleyOhio.com has experienced a serious boost in unique visitors within the past 24 hours and both the video viewings and website traffic are still increasing after just 24 hours of posting the video.  Sometimes things that appeal to a narrow margin of consumers can be the boost you are looking for.

Randy - I agree with you about needing to get visitors to our sites.  Sometimes the unusual stuff does as much as the professional stuff.

Jenny - Thanks for commenting.  So far I have picked up one new listing and three buyers for the Apple Valley Lake that we can specifically track from this video.  However, we have created throusands of instant views that we could track using Visistat website reporting and the increased traffic spike was BIG.  We used several different websites to promote the spinning sign video and the success of this unique promo was so strong that we are during another spinning sign video for our our KnoxCountyOhio.com website.  A typical advertisement gives you 7 seconds to capture the consumers attention and this video kept most people for the entire length of the video and the number of impressions was off the chart compared to print or web marketing.
