Broker Notice to Buyer/Tenant




The Broker Notice to Buyer/Tenantform is available through the Houston Association of  Realtors. It is intended to be given to a potential buyer or tenant BEFORE the showing process begins.



It helps the consumer to understand their responsibility to check EVERYTHING out on a property, including: environmental hazards, physical condition, and MLS data input information.   



Buyers can expect to see this and other forms in their Residential Buyer/Tenant Representation Agreement packet, such as, but not limited to:   Information About Brokerage Services (agency), Intermediary Notice, For Your Protection Get a Home Inspection, and/or General Information for a Buyer.



There are a lot of things to learn when purchasing a home. Be sure you select an agent that you have a good rapport with and can trust. Do not sign any paperwork that you do not understand or are not 100% comfortable signing. If you need to, take the packet home and go over it.  Seek legal advice if you do not understand the legal ramifications, and sign ONLY WHEN you are ready!

Very good explanation oof that form and related to the other forms. I try to send everything in advance and let the client read all that stuff. After they sign IBS and Rep letter then I give them a mass of other papers to read. So far not one client  I have dealt has read anything after I fgiven it to them. Your blog has good advice about not signing. Your post covers actually all of texas I think..
